Bankstown Senior College student Thi Hong, was featured in the Sydney Morning Herald for her remarkable story, as she prepared to complete the HSC at age 62.
Excerpt from the article:
When she signed up for English, mathematics, chemistry, biology and advanced Vietnamese at Bankstown Secondary a year-and-a-half ago, she was nervous about fitting in with the students and the culture. But she has thrived.
"I enjoy studying, because, as you know, knowledge is power," she said. "It is a very good, very nice, very beautiful experience for me."
We wish Thi Hong all the very best for her future endeavours.
