Library Vision
Vision statements are essential to the success of any organisation because they reveal a common goal and direction for all members of the organisation. The vision statement of the BSC library is as follows:
To encourage students to search for, borrow, read, and use hard copy, digital and online resources for enjoyment, research and academic success.
Library Policy
As per the DoE school library policy, the BSC library has a collection management policy. This sets out procedures for the library, including: present and future goals, resource selection criteria, how the library will deal with donations, why and how the library acquires resources and a form that can be completed in the instance of a challenge to a resource that has been made available.
