About Bankstown Senior College Library.
The BSC Library is open from 7.30 am till 3.30 pm Monday to Thursday.
The Teacher Librarian is Mr. Lowe. As well as being qualified to teach English and History, he has a Master of Education, specialising in Teacher Librarianship, and a Library Technician Diploma from Ultimo TAFE.
The library provides support for students through:
* University tutors that are in on most days of the week;
* the Learning Support faculty situated within the
library;
* Teachers and staff in the Bankstown Tutorial Program
situated within the library.
A number of resource collections are housed in the library:
Fiction;
Non-Fiction
Picture books;
Audio Books;
Graphic Fiction;
Magazines;
Readers;
HSC and Preliminary study guides;
DVDs;
Bilingual books.
The library has a number of computers, laptops, calculators and DVD players for use by students, as well as printers and photocopiers.
