- Comfort and practicality: Wear clothes and shoes that are comfortable, safe, and suitable for school activities.
- Cultural respect: Dress in a way that shows respect for all cultures and beliefs.
- Neat and clean: Clothes should be tidy, clean, and appropriate for a school setting.
Inappropriate clothing:
- Revealing clothes: No short shorts, crop tops, singlets, low-cut tops, or clothing that shows underwear.
- Unsafe footwear: No thongs or high heels.
- Dirty or unhygienic clothing
- Offensive designs: Avoid clothing with rude language, symbols, or images that could offend others’ cultural or religious beliefs.
For students who participate in practical subjects, it is mandatory that covered footwear and subject-approved clothing be worn during these classes. Students who do not comply with this regulation will not be permitted to participating under the Workplace Health and Safety Act of the NSW Department of Education.
Students who do not follow the College dress code will receive a warning the first time. If they continue to wear inappropriate clothing, they will be asked to wear BSC-provided clothing for the day.
